The core of the course is an introduction to survey methods and plotting.
Two hours are then spent in the pool or confined openwater (for the divers) or on the deck (for non-divers).
Finally back in the classroom, the measurements are plotted on paper. Survey methods used are datum off set, trilateration and use of a drawing square.
