Bite-Sized Training for All
In 2023 and early 2024, the Bite-Sized Training for All project, supported by Historic England, provide free online interactive training for current and prospective Protected Wreck Licensees to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Protection of Wrecks Act (1973).
The project encouraged increased interaction, improved monitoring and streamlined management of Protected Wrecks whilst reaching new audiences to encourage increased diversity in Protected Wreck Site engagement.
A series of short, jargon-free, training sessions were held online, aiming at supporting existing licensees as well as reaching new areas of the recreational diving community. The online training sessions are now on YouTube to watch in perpertuity.
