The NAS is returning for another amazing trip to the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, taking place on the 30th November 2013. Bookings for this trip will open 23rd May at 9am.
This really is an awe inspiring experience that offers participants the opportunity to have a guided tour on board the ship, and in the museum stores, both of which are not open to the general public. Our guide will be Fred Hocker, the Research Director at the museum, and your NAS host for the trip will be Mark Beattie-Edwards the NAS Programme Director. Following the mornings guided tours, participants will be free to explore the rest of the museum in the afternoon, and even sample the delicious Swedish meatballs in the museum café at lunch time.
For those working through the NAS Training Programme the trip can also count towards a NAS Part II Heritage Day!
The cost of this trip is £150 per person, and this does not include travel, food or accommodation. A non-refundable deposit of £75 is required at the time of booking. Bookings will open 23rd May at 9am.
