The International Journal of Nautical Archaeology (IJNA) is the academic peer reviewed journal of the NAS, founded in 1972. It is published for the Nautical Archaeology Society by Wiley Blackwell Publishing Ltd. Ever since the IJNA was established, it has existed as a forum for the exchange of ideas and research relevant to all aspects of nautical archaeology.
The IJNA is published twice a year on 1 March and 1 September. Articles are published online as soon as they are available, ahead of the print issues, and NAS professional members who subscribe to IJNA have online access to this material, as well as to the current issue and all back issues.
